5 Great, memorable experience. Our waitress only spoke French, totally understandable since it's France :) But I understood when she asked if we speak Spanish. So I said si, un poco. So she brings out Jean Baptiste. Apparently my accent is so American that when I started to speak Spanish, he said, "you speak English!" Then teases us about being in France without knowing French. Very funny, friendly guy. We appreciated his help and humor. She was great too! Great service! Great food! Great atmosphere! Highly recommend.
5 A nice place to visit in San Juan de Luz. I liked the steak with Roquefort sause immensely. Their own beer tasted also good. You have to wait a bit as the place is always overcrowded.
4 Lovely friendly welcome after a very early start and long day's travel from Edinburgh. Our waiter (from Agen) really looked after us, keeping us plied with welcome fluids and delicious food. Beautiful place is Saint Jean-de-Luz.
5 Because of the 3,7 * I was little worried. But I was very nicely surprised. Staff very helpful and friendly. Stater as tapas very tasty. Main course very nice too. For the desert I recommend to try homemade ice cream. They are top!! Thank you we all had good time at your place. Good luck.
5 Just loved our afternoon at this Café. Were very well looked after by Marine and Alexandre. We had a delicious lunch and then spent quite a lot of time lounging in the shade. They always had big smiles and were most attentive. This left us leaving with big smiles too!! Merci.
5 Instead of having breakfast in our hotel, we came out to find this place on the square with a great breakfast selection. We had cappuccino, tea, nice crispy and moist croissant, bread and jam and a buttery cheese omelette. Complete!
4 We came here after going for a meal down the road. Lovely bar with great outside seating. Unfortunately when we came it started to fully rain down hard but luckily they have plenty of cover. All the drinks were served in nice glasses except the beer. But tasted nice enough all the same. First time I have seen a pina colada in a gin goblet but looked really nice. Would be back to enjoy the square again
5 Marvellous. Great food and wine. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
Guests often enjoy their steak with Roquefort sauce, homemade ice cream, and a great selection of house beers, cocktails, and coffee.
It's best for a relaxed sit-down meal, whether you’re enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a cozy and casual setting.
The café tends to get busy, so visiting outside typical meal times might help if you prefer a quieter experience.
